River Waveney (non tidal)

River Waveney (non tidal)

The Club has the fishing rights to several stretches of the River Waveney.

The River Waveney stretches can only be fished by Club members.

Lucks Mill:  From Harleston proceed towards the village of Needham to Waveney House. 75 yards beyond this turn down the track on left. Park by the notice board and gate and proceed on foot to river over bridge (into Suffolk). Club waters extend downstream to the fence on the double bend.

Shotford to Mendham:  From Harleston take the B1123 towards Weybread Pits. Just before Shotford Birdge turn left. The Club waters commence at the first marsh on the right hand side and extends all the way downstream to Mendham Bridge, then beyond the sluices. Park on the verge of the road and access to the river may be gained through the gate marked 'Private Fishing' (there is no access through the farmyard or paddock at Shotford Hall). To reach the waters on the Suffolk bank, walk upstream from Mendham Bridge
